Howards End

Anyone who knows me well, knows my early obsession with the 1992 film "Howards End". (In fact, most of the films by its producers James Ivory and Ismail Merchant). Now and again it slips into my mind and it never fails to be a great source of inspiration. Here you will see five stills from the movie. The colors, textures and layers of the sets are COMPLETELY my style - They feature the strong, elegant lines and features of the Edwardian era, so neutral and classic. I've modelled many designs on the styling of these films.

Each course is limited to six attendees to allow everyone individual attention. Please let us know your preference of either a week night session (Tuesday or Thursday) 6.30 till 9.30 or... A daytime session (Thursday or Saturday) 10.00am to 1.00pm. Firm dates will then be announced together with a booking form. We are looking forward to presenting these workshops to you very soon.

The Justin Bishop Style & Design workshops are almost here.
Designed to help you develop your own individual style, creativity and design expertise. The workshops will be an informal and entertaining experience where you will discover new ideas through open discussion with Justin, while looking at some of his past and current design projects.
With Justin’s knowledge and experience you will discover how to turn your ideas into reality. You will learn how to find inspiration in things around you and gain the confidence to carry out your own design projects.
There will be no more than six in each class so that you will receive individual attention. You will take home a gift bag of essential items, a mood board that you will create yourself with Justin’s assistance and most importantly...

Style & Design Workshops 2010

It is with great pleasure that I confirm the planning stages of the first Justin Bishop Style & Design Workshops.
Scheduled to run throughout 2010, the workshops will cover many home styling topics (interior and exterior) and will run in conjunction with my own home renovations and extension, which you will be witness to, as things progress.
I welcome your interest at this stage and as I’m currently planning the workshop content I would love to hear of any particular topics that you would like me to cover.

A perfect combo...

Often, simple things inspire me. A vintage jar with beautifully  warn lid teamed with an orderly bunch of brown hazelnuts. Who could ask for anything more?? Its a lovely combination - industrial, organic chic!
